There is also a public bus service running from the KLIA terminals to KL Sentral. KLIA Ekspress is a high speed train service connecting the airport to Kuala Lumpur and also south to Putrajaya. The service runs 24 hours a day with trains every 15 minutess in peak times and every 30 minutes in non-peak times. Cost is RM35 per adult. By bus Malaysia's road system is modern and extensive so using buses to travel around is economical and comfortable. Buses go to and from Kuala Lumpur to all the major cities and towns in Malaysia. The bus terminal Puduraya is located close to Chinatown and has regular buses going to Melaka. Buses start at 7am through to 10pm. The trip to Melaka takes 2 hours. Cost is RM10. By Train The train station at Kuala Lumpur was built in 1910 and is a tourist attraction in itself. Trains from here go to Butterworth (close to Penang) and onwards to Thailand or south to Singapore. There is now an electronic train service which travels between Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh, the travel time is 2 hours with the trains top speed of 168Km/h.
